Required Skills 

• Java, Python
• ELK Stack fundamentals, Installation, and configuration of ELK cluster
• Elasticsearch concepts, Index patterns, knowledge in Shards, replicas
• Strong knowledge on Logstash configuration, building custom visualizations on Kibana
• Knowledge on beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat, Heartbeat)
• Elasticsearch query (Query DSL), KQL, Scripted fields
• Logstash plugins(Grok, JSON, Mutate), aggregation, filtering, parsing and alerting using Logstash
• Knowledge on PySpark, Kafka, Cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Python basics
• Linux/Unix knowledge
• Agile
• Requirement Analysis (practicing)
• Impact Analysis (practicing)
• Knowledge of Best Practices in ELK
• JavaScript, AngularJS, React, NodeJS, Type Script, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, SQL Serve

Desired experience: 10+ years

Role Description

·         Overall work experience of 10+ years in full stack development type of projects

·         Ability to be hands-on and also be able to technically lead a group of engineers on programs/initiatives to deliver on programs and projects

·         Ability to interface with Director level Technical and Program Leaders within IBM, End-Client, stakeholders for the programs and projects

Technical Skills

·         4 years hands-on experience on ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash) and python programming

·         Must be able to design and develop applications requiring backend storage like Elasticsearch

·         Experience with evaluating existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, search, for Lead role

·         Strong fundamentals and experience in Data analytics 

·         Good knowledge on Cloud (AWS,Azure,GCP)

·         Good knowledge on Beats

·         Good knowledge on PySpark and Kafka, and integration with Logstash will be added advantage

·         Experience in working with: Agile development teams and GIT for source control

·         Additional full stack experience preferred in few of the following areas

·         Javascript, AngularJS, React, NodeJS, TypeScript, Cassandra, MariaDB, CouchDB, Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, ELK Stack, Kafka

·         Preferred Skills: problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills and experience working in Agile Development and GIT for source control
